This Privacy Policy describes how openSourceSol (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the SwiftPDF mobile application for Android (“the App”) and this website at swiftpdf.osourcesol.com.

1. Information we collect

SwiftPDF is designed to process PDF files you choose. Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

• Files you select: PDFs and images you pick from your device are processed to provide compress, merge, split, sign, and view features. Files are transmitted to our servers only for processing and are not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
• Device and app data: Basic technical information such as device type, operating system version, and app version to keep the App working reliably.
• Advertising data: If you use the free version, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data to show ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.
• Purchase information: If you buy the ad-free upgrade, payment is handled by Google Play. We receive confirmation of your purchase status, not your full payment card details.
• Local app data: Processing history and preferences may be stored on your device using local storage.

2. How we use information

• Provide PDF tools you request (compress, merge, split, sign, view)
• Deliver and measure advertising in the free version
• Verify ad-free purchases and restore purchases
• Improve performance, fix bugs, and maintain security
• Respond to support requests

3. File access and permissions

SwiftPDF requests access to files on your device so you can open, process, and save PDFs. On modern Android versions, you grant access through the system file picker. We only access files you explicitly choose, except when you open a PDF from another app using Android’s “Open with” feature.

4. Third-party services

The App uses trusted third-party services, including:

• Google AdMob — advertising in the free version
• Google Play Billing — in-app purchases for the ad-free upgrade
• Google Play Services — distribution and related platform features

Each third party processes data under its own privacy policy.

5. Data retention

PDF files sent for processing are handled temporarily to complete your request and are not kept longer than necessary for that purpose. History entries stored on your device remain until you delete them or uninstall the App.

6. Children’s privacy

SwiftPDF is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices

• You can decline file permissions, though some features may not work.
• You can purchase the ad-free upgrade to stop in-app advertising.
• You can reset ad identifiers in your Android device settings.
• You can uninstall the App at any time to remove locally stored data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
